I'm Davide and I build custom software.
Freelance Software Engineer and IT Consultant in Treviso. I like understanding how things work, finding the point where they get more complicated than they need to be, and trying to simplify it.
“Good software removes steps, it does not add them.”
How it started.
Computers entered my life early. First came video games, mods, texture packs, and servers configured just to discover what happened behind the screen. Then I chose to study computer science, and that curiosity found a clearer direction.
The first project I truly remember was inventory software for a supermarket, written in C during high school. It had one enormous file and many choices I would not make today. But it tried to solve a concrete problem: that is the part that stayed with me.
Since then, I have kept being drawn to the points where data, people, and activities fail to connect. That is where business software, automation, or an operational platform can stop being “technology” and become a reliable everyday tool.
Two products of my own.
How do you turn work scattered across notes, calculations, and manual steps into a workflow that makes sense from the first use?
How I work.
First I observe the real process: who does what, what information is needed, and where time is lost.
- Understand
- Exceptions, constraints, and people's habits matter as much as the process on paper.
- Simplify
- Every step must have a reason. If the software can do it, I do not ask the user to.
- Build
- Interface, data, and architecture must support the same goal, even as the product grows.
Let's start with the process, not the technology.
